Masters of measuring!

The kids in Room 6 have been looking at measurement as part of the mathematics programme this week.
We have been grouping things and arranging them from largest to smallest. We are also learning how to measure things by using parts of our bodies... for example, our pencils are 3 and a bit of our thumbs long!

"I really liked measuring the door because you get to stand up and try to reach the top - it's fun to move around when learn!" - Riley

We will add some video footage of Room 6 measuring in the next few days!
