Wow! Term 2 already!
We are all rested and ready to get stuck into our learning!
Room 6 kids have all had fantastic holidays. We have been writing about all the cool things that we did in the break.
Our Inquiry topic for this term is "Friendly Footprints". We are all looking at the little and big ways that we can make a difference in our world. Looking at how we can help our planet by recycling, reducing the amount of rubbish that we put into the world and re-using our things more than once.
Lots of us take out scooters, walk or bike to school and we are all looking forward to our "walk to school' day later in the term.
Phew, we are training hard for our cross country at the moment. Our big race day is in week 4, so we are training every day so we can wow all of our parents with our speed!
Our Reading and Spelling Rockets are zooming along, three of us have moved from our Reading Rockets onto our Spelling Rockets now, it is so exciting!!!
We are looking forward to a brilliant term full of amazing learning - keep checking out our blog for all the groovy things we are getting up to!
