On your markies, get your car keys, GO!

It is so great to be back at school with all the cool kids in Room 6! Everyone had a great break, and has returned well-rested and bursting with energy for Term 3.

We all said "Cheeeeeeese" yesterday when we had our school photo taken - I'm sure that it will be the most beautiful shot of the day!

It's a busy first week, with school photos, kapa haka, performing arts with Mrs Hooke and a new round of Enrichment starting on Friday but we are all amping to go!

We are trying to find out lots of information about the Olympics so we can add to our class brainstorm of what we know. There is so much history to learn about We are lucky to have a 'comtact' who is representing NZ in Womens Hockey who is going to answer any questions that we have about life at the Olympics - we will be keeping out fingers crossed for Sheree Horvarth and the team when they play their games!

How do you turn good looking 5 and 6 year olds into cute little Barbaloot Bears? That is what we are trying to figure out at the moment in preparation for the Muritai School Production of "The Lorax" - if you have any ideas, please let us know!

We would love to read any comments that you have about our learning, so please leave us a comment on our blog!
